Holiday Mini Session
4 digital backdrops options
faq
What Colors and Outfits Look Best for These Holiday Minis?
Neutral colors work beautifully with all four digital backdrops — think cream, ivory, gray, taupe, soft greens, or muted earth tones. You can also dress more festive if you prefer; velvet, sequins, knits, and cozy sweaters all photograph wonderfully and add gorgeous texture. Whether you keep it classic or dress up for the holidays, both styles look amazing.
Are Patterns Okay, and What Should We Avoid?
Keep patterns minimal. If one person wears plaid or a patterned outfit, it’s best for everyone else to wear solid colors so the photo stays balanced and cohesive. Avoid loud patterns, neon tones, or large logos — they can distract from the warm, cozy holiday feel. Textures (like velvet or chunky knits) are always a great choice, especially for kids.
What is a Digital Backdrop?
A digital backdrop is a beautifully designed background that is added to your photo during the editing process. Instead of setting up multiple physical sets, I photograph you on a clean studio backdrop and then blend your image naturally into the backdrop you choose.
I offer four gorgeous digital holiday backdrops. Based on my samples, you can choose the one you love most before your session.
What If I Need to Cancel? Do I Get a Refund?
Because these Holiday Mini Sessions have very limited spots, all bookings are non-refundable. Once the time slots are filled, I’m unable to reschedule or replace your session.
If something unexpected comes up, you’re welcome to gift or transfer your session to a friend or family member—just let me know so I can update the name on the booking.
How does the process work during the session?
You’ll be photographed in my studio using simple posing and lighting that match the style of your chosen digital backdrop. Everything is calm, quick, and easy—no props or complicated setup needed.
I bring everything to life during the editing process.
Can my dog join the Holiday Mini Session?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are absolutely welcome.
There are a few rules and limitations:
• Your dog must remain on a leash until it’s time for photos.
• They should be comfortable around new spaces, lights, and people.
• Please bring treats or a favorite toy to help capture their attention.
How many pets can I bring?
One dog per session works best given the short 15-minute timeframe, but if you have two small dogs who photograph well together, just let me know in advance, and we can prepare.
If you have 2 or more larger dogs, I recommend booking 2 sessions to ensure we have enough time. Dogs, typically operate on their time-clock and not ours.
Will the digital backdrop still look natural with a pet?
Yes! Pets photograph beautifully on the studio setup, and I make sure the lighting and posing blend seamlessly with the digital backdrop you choose.
Should I plan anything extra if bringing a dog?
Arrive a few minutes early so your dog can get comfortable. And plan simple, neutral outfits—pets already add a perfect touch of personality!
